S.A.F.E.

Grappling Puzzle Adventure Game

S.A.F.E. or Secure Automated Friendly Enterprise is a puzzle adventure game about a robot named S.T.U. (Storage Transfer Unit) that works in a shipping space station moving cargo and delivering it to where it needs to go with his grappling magnetic arms. One day S.T.U forgets to renew his security clearance and the station's overzealous security system labels him as a threat and tries to kill him. S.T.U. must navigate the station in order to get his clearance renewed and get back to work.

S.A.F.E. was made in a team during the Game Workshop 1 and 2 courses at Drexel University over the course of 20 weeks.

What I did on this project:

I modeled and textured the crates scattered around the level. I also modeled and textured the floor and wall pieces which were created in a panel system so that the levels could be quickly and easily assembled.

I also wrote lines for the S.A.F.E. station's security system to communicate with S.T.U. during the course of the game. I also wrote lines for the non-player character robots that stand around the station and are available for S.T.U. to talk with along his journey.

Do not hesitate to contact me to discuss a possible project or learn more about my work.
